[Bitcoin] How to identify where your post would belong .

Are you referring to only our local board or the forum at large? This is because I notice that our local board does not have a sub-board called bitcoin discussion

I doubt if he was directing to the local board, it should be out of his experience to how especially beginners have been regularly creating threads in the wrong boards. But while precisely to our community is to also inform our incoming so they could take note.
I'll agree with with the Op because I've also been reporting much number of posts the the Mods to move post to the appropriate boards. So I think the thread would also serve as lesson to our newbies.

I think this is a general advice to anyone who cares to listen, especially to all newbies in the forum, however OP decided to target more of the audience in the local board because him want make our people learn from this issues and not to allow them to fall victim of all these off-topic and moved topics which mostly happens to the newbies and members on this forum. As for the local board, there are three main categories here, the main board and two child boards which include the Politics and society (Naija) board and the Off-topic board, where topics who are perceived unnecessary are moved to, to keep the board relevant, neat and clean.

Greetings my pipo of 9ja, this one na very important small discussion I wan make we join head together sabi how we go take do easy to we people.

In Bitcoin if what you are saying covers or only carry information about Bitcoin then you should know such post belongs to Bitcoin discussion section, while there are other post which you know that talks about government or politics we should know that such posts truly belong to politics & society then you should that is best suitable that place.

To know post that belongs to economy when it talks about certain events or occurrence from state or country then you should know is best suitable over there. Whatever post that talks about gambling then we should also take note that those are going to gambling discussions section.

In fact to me I see am as something wey dey easily and simple but the problems be say we people no dey like take records on where they should drop post or not but e go com occur for their minds say them supposed post here or there, but ended up posting at the wrong lane.

Thank you so much for your corrections my buddy,you have done a little enlightenment to us the new comers and I am so happy for this, because it helps me and I believe someone's also gaining something from this thread too just like i gain, it's all about gradual process,we will all become perfect one day.
 You know some of us the new comers are finding it difficult to know where it suits for us to post our topics at any point in time, so with this explanation I think i gained something today and I pray for more enlightenment please in different areas thank you all..

See for me ehh e dey easy to know where post should belong or not, as long as that person is active on English they should know the types of post that should belong to English and local board and even to the offtopic, politics, and beginners. I don't think this should make people unrest because usually as an active poster they should know how post are being made or share across those sections and they should look from example and know the proper place post should belong to.

As a newbie to the forum, one is expected to get familiarized with the forum, know the available boards, what they are being discussed and how we could understand the best section we are proficient at, how to post there and what to post there, all these required from us to learn and get used to the forum, that is why on each sections, you will discover some pinned threads, then we all have to see the beginners and help section more important also, because one can ask and know more about cryptocurrency and the forum as we may try to ask, everything at the end is up to the newbie to determine how fast he could learn and adapt to the use of the forum.

The reason some of the newbies are not yet familiarized with the forum, even some that have been a while in this forum, is because they don’t take time out of their busy schedules to go through the entire board that is available in this forum. That’s why, up to today, most of the newbies find it difficult to navigate this forum. And the lack of proper orientation is what causes all this; they are only introduced to the forum without knowing how it’s operating.

That’s why we can see most of them will be creating threads and posting them in any board; they’re unaware that each section has its own discussion. But some don’t want to learn deeply in order to discover the pinned threads as newbies to grow their knowledge about this forum.

What I observed about this mistake especially on the local board is that if the newbies are not the type that identifies difference to another might definitely not understand if there is any other section apart from the main board we have because they will presume from how the forum normal board usually work, that a click takes you to only a place of posting and nothing additional they should check in terms of another section inside it so actually most of them come to the local board with the same mindset and didn't no that everything shouldn't be posted in the same place but however there seem to be an improvement on this because unlike when politics in Nigeria are discussed on the main board, now this there has been a separation and almost everybody knows were to post.
