As other have said, AI and VR will be next big thing in gambling. And if I'm not mistaken, there could have been some experiment already on the application of this advance technology.

I'm looking more on the advancement of betting though, on how AI could predict base on the numbers on who is going to win regardless of what sports it will be. One on one, like boxing or tennis, or team sports. That would be crazy if AI could predict at least 80-90% on who is going to win by what margin and others.

Robot boxing? This might be the next big thing that'll be added in gambling's history. I saw it recently in a video, somewhere in China?
The fight sure looks funny as both robots are still a long way from making the fight truly entertaining. Heck, these things usually can't even find their oponent in the ring yet and just swings aimlessly. With that being said, technology grows fast and we might be seeing live fights of these robots in the near future.
Or maybe a robot boxing but is piloted by a human, kinda like the movie Real Steel (2011).

The sporting event in China that featured an AI-powered humanoid robot boxing match shows another direction in sporting events. The integration of Artificial intelligence into sports and casino games might be the future of gambling. Although the humanoid robot boxing match was not that entertaining since the technology is still in the development stage but with more advancement, we might start placing bets on such games. We have to expect emerging technologies such as AI, ML, VR/AR to revolutionise the gambling industry.

Pretty interesting on how gambling start and evolve through time. It shows that gambling is truly entertaining for the people to discover it and it shows how creative people really are to think of ways on how to start it even with a limited equipment at first. They are also smart to innovate the existing thing they have. VR and AR is not a new thing anymore but I think it didn't gain enough traction.

I guess this is due to their complexity like we will be needing to buy a VR equipment first in order to get started on them. After them, there are new innovations that take place. There is this NFT that already adopted by some casinos and right now, it must be the AI is the one that is shining.

Is this a real infographic? It looks more like a wall of text to me. Infographics usually have charts and maps. Keep up the good work with gathering historical facts, but this infographic should be re-designed in order to look more appealing to the eye and straight to the point.

I agree, how I wish I could make a really grand infographic presentation with all the alluring images and straight to the fact information.  But well, it is not too late for improvement .

I can assume that the next gambling evolution must be somehow related to the AI boom. Maybe there will be online casinos entirely managed by AI or decentralized gambling games created with the help of AI. Imagine every gambler being able to create his own online casino with the help of AI. That would be weird.

It would be awesome to think that every gambler can command an AI feature to create a game for them.  The AI management assistant had been around for years IMO, but I think it won't take long for us to see a full AI-managed system since AI today has been massively developed and integrated into systems.

If you are a gambler and a casino owner at the same time, you wouldn't be losing any money.

I think the person still has to spend money, remember they have to spend money for maintenance or subscription of services to keep the system running.

I think we already had passed the hype of NFT integration to casinos but if ever there will be a new groundbreaking development for the gambling industry, I believe it has something to do with AI. Or probably in legal basis, regulations.

In gambling today, we can see how the use of AI has been taking over and making influence upon what we thought the people would rather see less of in it, but if we may not be forgetting, this same uses of AI does not applies tot he gambling technology and evolution alone, but we are seeing it more as well in other aspects of modern technologies and innovations, this is making a vast difference in making things done more better in a unique pattern for the people to have something new and better than the former.

This happened at Perp-Dex Day in Seoul, South Korea wherein traders have their own booths in center stage and (I guess) do trades to see who can make more profits.

Yeah that E sports trading competition done by South Korea is really amazing.

VR is complete nonsense in my opinion. The popularity of Dice, for example, hasn't suffered at all as visualization technologies have improved, in fact, it's grown (thanks to the internet). VR and everything else is a superstructure over the essence, it is actually unimportant to most gamblers.
As for AI and big data, they have already changed the way they predict game outcomes, but there is still a limit to the accuracy of predictions, as there is always room for randomness.

Thanks for the presentation, it really gives me a picture of how gambling started. and I noticed dice was already there at the very beginning, which makes sense because in the Bitcoin space, dice was also one of the earliest and most popular games.

Though sports betting was technically the first, now that I see this, I understand better how it really started and what game became popular first. since it was created a long time ago, it has become a tradition in some countries, so banning gambling completely doesn’t seem wise. controlling it is the better solution.

Hope regulators realize this before they decide to ban gambling altogether.

In my opinion, the next evolution will be for people to stay at home, sit in a special chair with a helmet that, when they use it, their consciousness will be projected to the casino and that way they would play in the casino as if they were playing in real life. It is. Not everyone is a graphic designer and making infographic is not limited to those of that profession. It is pretty decent and at least the image quality is high. Often people post even low quality images.

VR overall isn't nonsense but for gambling it may be. Anyway that is not its intended use case. Often businesses add technologies that are not relevant in an desperate attempt to stay or become relevant.

Perhaps you have a totally different perception of my opinion, for clarity purposes… we have so much threads dedicated to it and some are merely repetition of words which is totally undeniable. So because I’m not an addict doesn’t mean I underscore the effectiveness in the society and the community generally.

Now that we have AI and prediction trends, it is making their way into the systems of many casinos. VR used to be a popular trend, but it has since lost its momentum.

This could get huge if big crypto-companies like Binance or Crypto.com gets a wind of this and sponsor one of these crypto-trading e-sports events, 'cause right now, I think it is only a localized event in South Korea.

It hard to tell, but I would personally assume that in those olden days, there were no gambling regulations because not too many people were gamblers, infact, I feel that in those days, gambling was limited to like where a certain group of people work, like in the force, in the prisons as way they get to entertain themselves, there probably were no physical or online casinos where they could visit to place bets or play slot games like we do in this current generation, most gambling back then were done by person to person or a group playing (mostly) card games, board games and so on.

Regulation only started to come when more and more people discovered gambling and began to pick interest in it, and the reason why the regulations may begin to happen at that time is probably because some people would use gambling to scam other people, so the government had no choice but to create gambling laws and at the same time begin regulation so that when those who scam others are caught, they could be severely punished.
