I was hype on the VR/AR casino before during the popularity of Metaverse on crypto projects but all casino that attempt to use this technology failed since the VR quality is very poor that makes me vomit and use the traditional live game instead.

The evolution of gambling is indeed amazing but still all those classic still govern on this modern times since game like roulette, slot and other table games are still the main game which casino offers.

I still preferred classic games.

Robot boxing? This might be the next big thing that'll be added in gambling's history. I saw it recently in a video, somewhere in China?
The fight sure looks funny as both robots are still a long way from making the fight truly entertaining. Heck, these things usually can't even find their oponent in the ring yet and just swings aimlessly. With that being said, technology grows fast and we might be seeing live fights of these robots in the near future.
Or maybe a robot boxing but is piloted by a human, kinda like the movie Real Steel (2011).

Until I've to travel to the future and come back before I can give a straight answer to this since we're talking about what modernity gambling could become in the then. But what I can only say is that since gambling has evolved from land base to digital gambling, And we've also moved to betting with crypto and others could risk their other valuables on the bets, I feel we've got the best and the worse to exist. Although technology is still evolving and so also more gambling provisions will be made available to suit the existing generation.
Maybe that forthcoming generation to withness the new dawn of the future gambling would know best about the nature of gambling that'd suit their own time.

The utas are very interesting, the development of betting adjusts to the development of knowledge and technology and is that the evolution of gambling occurs, just like the lifestyle and lifestyle of an era.

With the development of AI, I think the VR/AR gambling casino will be refined and might be the next interest of the gambling players since they will be immersed in a virtual casino like they are really present in that establishment.  It might not be that popular today because of the technology and the high price of the gadget use for the technology but if the technology for that got fully developed and devices are mass produced, I believe just like the mobile gambling, it will be a hit one day.

Robot boxing sports betting is really interesting but I think a V/R or A/R version of this sport is much easier to develop and much practical since it's much cheaper, safer, and there is no need for regular maintenance. But I think it gives a better impression to have robot boxing in physical form than in a digital one.

VR technology still needs to develop a lot more. It needs advancements in many different technologies to become more practical. It shall come with time.

I am the same. Much of the modern advancements there are not appealing to me, but maybe it has to do with age or with the types of games that you start. Maybe when the modern generations start their gambling adventures with such games there is a higher chance that they will like them?

I don't see how possible this is but I know AI is the revolution but I can't also put it together to know how exactly AI is going to be able to set matches, like football except virtually matches.... but for reality games, not sure AI can fit into that area and possibly generate games that people will play and win but for losses we all know it's guaranteed.

Idk but I think next trend will likely align with the overall technological trend of the world which is AI. The current evolution which is online gambling became possible thanks to internet and the world wide web. That's why I think the next phase will likely have to do with AI as to the exact specifics, I don't think everyone know now. That said, I think the current meta will continue for at least 2 to3 more decades before we start to see any decent innovations to the gambling industry from AI or any new tech that disrupts the industry.

I have played one myself where I was a boxer seeing myself in the ring while putting on the VR gadgets with my friend as an opponent, just a kind of a repetition of the Zoro team kind of animation with characteristics of live kick boxing fights and when I have received much blows, the response of my robot becomes slower despite all my actions to engage signaling a tired or injured fighter. It really made sense and if the casino could implement such kind of VR games, I think it would be a very big hit.

Back to barbarism, like it used to be in ancient times when there were gladiator games. It's not a general tendency, but it's already present right now in minor scale through "sports" like slapping and the fascination for TV shows (fictional or reality shows) where people have to suffer in different ways to reach the final prize. Sooner or later people will start placing bets once again in deadly games.

Moral relativism is the belief of modernity, what means there aren't moral limits or morals at all. Everything is valid, depending your perspective, and as consequence, the love and compassion between people disappear. Entertainment is found on the suffering of others, and side by side with entertainment there is profit as well!

As other have said, VR/AI could be the next big thing. It's going to be a total experience with your gadgets in your head and as if playing physically with other players and interacting but the reality is bend because you are not there. Perhaps this thing could happen in the next 5-10 years as the advancement of AI technology and others to make this dream a reality for us gamblers. We already have seen robotics, if I'm not mistaken it has been in some Hollywood movies, so it's art imitating art. And there are some movies in the distant past as well that become reality like mobile phones and smart watches. So I think it could really happen but not sure what will be the price of it for us humans in the future.

Same here I was really hyped when this buzzword first appeared in the cryptosphere.  I remember some altcoin campaign here about Augmented Reality, but sadly the project did not materialize.  The Metaverse also bring another hype but I think the technology is yet that advanced to give users the expected experience.

I think this one falls to combat sports development, although in gambling, it would be in the sports betting category.  It would be great to watch this kind of match where people have to pilot (mount not through the controller outside the robot) a gigantic robot and fight each other like the gladiators of the ancient times.

Is this a real infographic? It looks more like a wall of text to me. Infographics usually have charts and maps. Keep up the good work with gathering historical facts, but this infographic should be re-designed in order to look more appealing to the eye and straight to the point.
I can assume that the next gambling evolution must be somehow related to the AI boom. Maybe there will be online casinos entirely managed by AI or decentralized gambling games created with the help of AI. Imagine every gambler being able to create his own online casino with the help of AI. That would be weird. If you are a gambler and a casino owner at the same time, you wouldn't be losing any money.

Anyway, it's truly amazing how gambling has evolved, and I still like the way it is done online. Text-based and picture-based. Others are looking for something better, but when you are a gambler, whatever is available will be enough.

I have seen the VR games streamed by gamblers who tested them, and all I can say is that I am not happy with the results. Maybe we are still far from evolving gambling to the extent of playing with friends as a hologram. That will really be fun.
The same as others, I'd prefer live gambling to those new technologies or I will just stick with sports betting and watch the live games that I bet on.

I believe this is already happening especially on sportsbook which AI is already being used to create betting option including analytics on the specific match.

AI is now also being used to create video and other media product which means it’s functionality is already there to be applied on gambling industry.

Like the robotic fighting that julerz12 had already touched on, that's where before now I have thought of as the next destination of evolution for gambling but they have to do better with the innovation for it to gain an adequate attention though.

With the technology that we have now, it seems like the plausible next step is VR. It feels like there's no need for it since not a lot of people would use it in their homes unless you really like gambling. It feels better to gamble in a real casino instead of a virtual one.

The recent things that Polymarket did with gambling are more of a jump for me, making it secure and letting everyone bet on what they want.

I don't think it would be a big sell when virtual tech has come around. I think AI and Machine learning would be more impactful in gambling.
