(Resolved) Deposit stolen by Duckdice.io

Hi,

Unfortunately in some circumstances a casino (or exchange etc)  is actually obliged to hold funds until certain procedures are completed, it is correct that in other circumstances the initial deposit can be refunded without KYC however this is not one of them. DuckDice, like any other casinos has to abide by these regulations and the best route forward would be complying with the instructions that were given to you via email and by the live support agents.

If you have any trouble actually completing the KYC, then don't hesitate to reply back to the email chain where we will do our best to help you.

As to providing evidence and why this is not possible, there are many circumstances where again we are obliged not too publish certain information nor is it practical to reveal them in case it aids other bad actors circumvent detections etc.

Duckdice handles large volumes of transactions every single day and the majority of users do not experience such issues, nor would we wish to damage our reputation for just 0.004 btc, we are only doing what is required by us as a responsible casino.

Have you in anyway make deposit through an address that was preciously associated with mixer or something else?
Most time why most gambling site do have this behavior is when they noticed that you have made deposit through a wallet that was associated to mixer because during my own case when mixer were actively advertised here went to made deposit to a gambling site directly to them from a wallet used to mixed coin and send to gambling. I was questioned and asked to prove source of funds, after then I don't just like associating my wallet to any of them.

I've talked with your colleague and they informed me that you'll be the one handling this matter. So, is it possible to get me a more comprehensive understanding with the old-school for-my-eyes-only, with OP's consent to fully release all that DuckDice have on him to me, that DD think can support their stance, so I can understand what happens here better?

OP, your consent if DD accept this? Please also put in writing that what I find after reviewing what DD provide to me [if they  allow it], will be binding to both parties. I have no interest to be judge, I prefer to be a bridge instead the one who slam the gavel, but some situation needs different approach.

Yes i had some absence from the team from around late august until recently, i have re-joined with slightly different responsibilities than i had before, and one of them is to reach out on these kind of platforms when required, like this post here. 

I really appreicate your efforts in regard to this however what you are asking for is not possible in a case like this, even with OP's consent, the matter is between us, the demands of the regulatory environment we must comply with and OP himself.

Now, don't misunderstand me, we are not implying OP is involved in anything nefarious  like this directly or knowingly, however we are still obliged too cover ourselves by requesting KYC in this case. I really suggest OP does his best to work with us.

I have even provided evidence that my funds are 100% legal.

Still you have some 'mystery' evidence that says my funds come from some unholy dark place. This is 100% a lie. Please tell me what 'evidence' you have!

Would like to update that OP did eventually complete the necessary steps and we have now processed a refund back to his sending address, i would welcome OP editing the original thread to highlight that this is indeed the case, or replying to confirm but this is up to him.

As previously mentioned, it is unfortunate that sometimes these processes are necessary however we are under certain obligations, the majority of customers do not experience these difficulties however it is important too understand that when using any service which involves money, crypto or not, KYC is sometimes a necessary measure that you should be able to fulfill when asked when using these services.

Yes there was a bit of a situation of my own making mixed with a big scare to my health, however all is now well and i'm back under a new role,

I think should be enough, I was told by my contact that OP finally did the KYC and passed and now will get their fund processed. Though my contact asked me to refrain from announcing this until everything is done.

I had to do max level KYC to get my money back. This whole situation still feels very weird and suspicious to me.

I will never, ever play on Duckdice again. Every player has to decide for himself to play on Duckdice or not, but keep in mind there is always a chance you suddenly have to do max level KYC, or else your funds will be lost forever. Even if your crypto came from a legitimate source.

It can be frustrating as some rules seem totally arbitrary.

The concept of bad coIns hurts the entire crypto industry.
