Such question like is very hard to give direct answer.
Because the future of the coin mostly depends on the team who is working behind it.
So if you really want to invest on a coin, you need to follow closely all their developments and updates.
In that way, you can assess on your own if something is going to achieve or has the possibility to stay longer in crypto.

Problem solved.  Had downloaded an older version of qt.

I seem to be stuck on week 46 left.  Tried different nodes & many restarts.  Using qt v2.1.0-1 (64-bit)  Is there a newer qt?  Made a conf file and the debug log isn't a lot of help.  Any suggestions?

At one time, I mined a certain amount of koto, and forgot, accidentally stumbled upon this topic, and the coin is still alive, the network is working.  Development is underway, but there is a problem with the exchanges, the wallet is closed on the crex24.  Need exchanges and liquidity, does the community have ideas?
