Does anyone know who the dev is for Bitslap, and if it is for real or a joke?
I never laughed so hard at an ANN before, I hope it is real.
Dev, or anyone involved please let us know. If it is real I want to mine it
because you guys have a great sense of humor. If it is just a joke, thanks
for all the time you put into it.

So I'm one of the Devs for BitSlap and I don't want to give away too much at the moment, but the answer to your question is actually both. Take it for what its worth, but maybe the real joke is that the joke is real 

For now I guess you'll just have to wait and find out. But maybe a little more info on our distribution might help you come to your own conclusions:
