Quote
Let’s set the record straight: perpetual war is a tool of elitists and globalists to enslave the U.S. citizenry. While we are killing thousands of people abroad (most of whom are innocents)--all in the name of “liberating” them--we are tightening the tyrannical noose around the necks of the American people. In the name of the “War on Terror,” the most sophisticated surveillance society in the history of mankind has been created right here in the continental United States. With the advent of the Patriot Act and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) under G.W. Bush, Washington, D.C., has constructed (and is continuing to construct) a burgeoning police state the likes of which Joseph Stalin, Mao Tse-tung, and Adolf Hitler could have only dreamed about. And for the most part, evangelicals are fine with it.

But what is really happening in those countries that these endless wars are supposedly “liberating?” And specifically, what is happening to the thousands and millions of Christians within those countries after having been “liberated” by Uncle Sam? After all, America’s evangelical churches of every denomination spend millions of dollars every year sending missionaries around the globe to evangelize folks. How many missionary slides have we seen? How many passionate, tearful sermons have we heard imploring us to get a burden for missions? One of the most sacred elements of any Christian church is its missions program.

So, on the one hand, evangelicals are weeping, praying, and giving millions of dollars to make Christians out of the peoples of the world and on the other hand, they are leading the charge for America’s efforts to rain death and destruction down upon those same people.

Aside from the utter inconsistency of the above, what are all of these endless wars accomplishing for the Christians who live inside the countries that we are “liberating?” What is all of these Christian-endorsed wars doing to the people of God around the world? The answer will shock most believers.

According to an Infowars.com report, “In areas where we spent hundreds of billions of dollars and where thousands of precious American lives were sacrificed, churches are regularly being bombed, Christians are being brutally beheaded, and laws have been passed to make it illegal for a Muslim to convert to Christianity. If we were not even able to provide the most basic of liberties and freedoms to the people living in those nations, what in the world did we actually accomplish by ‘liberating’ them?

Those carrying out this persecution of Christians in Syria are being directly funded and aided by the governments of the United States and Saudi Arabia.”

First off, this Baldwin guy is a pastor and a very good writer and oral speaker, so keep an eye on his site if ya want. This article puts into words how the neoconservatives in the GOP have played the Evangelical Christians (for the most part) into going along w/ perpetual war as long as lip service was used ever few years against abortion. These Christians are some of most easily duped and gullible people in American right next to the drones on the left that bought the Obama line. These are America's boobeoisie camps and are the major blamable parties for the current condition of America's trajectory as a once great super power.

There's plenty of blame to go around imo. Anytime you have folks out there perpetuating a fraud under the guise of something else, it's clearly morally wrong especially if it results in more death. On the flip, being blind followers of one party as it's directed down a different path than the socially conservative path of the Reagan years towards what it became in the 2000s is shameful on many of these Christians' behalves. So, the GOP got changed for the worse and now Rand is trying to return it to promoters of real capitalism and individual rights. Now, the democrats went all radical lefty and I wonder what goes on in party regulars minds and whether they think the hijack went too far.

Blaming christians is sorta fallacious when we could be blaming the people who manipulate and brainwash the people below them, the government and powers that be.

Though if christians followed their name, to be as christ was, loving, we wouldn't have wars.

Killing in the name of peace is retarded, but people are doing it because the government has convinced us it's the righteous thing to do.

Society is ass backwards, you can kill someone and get four years in prison.  Sell acid to someone and you can serve a 100 year sentence.

The corruption is self evident and it's time for us, the people, to take back our society into our own hands.

Lets face it, religion has been a good and general acceptable pretext to conquer, rob and kill others, but we have always found other pretexts to do the same to people of the same religion.

In medieval times, the church was able to end or strongly limit slavery of Christians. But after the new slaves of modern era converted to Christianity, our ancestors decided to keep them as slaves.

If the religious pretext ceased to apply, there were plenty of others.

Religion's foundation is spirituality.  That of which is inherently opposite of enslavement and destruction of populations.

Power structures have bastardized good causes to corrupt the cause of good for a cause of their own.  The real problem is hierachial structures and they all boil from the governments of the world.

True spirituality is love and belief in yourself and others, and that is someone everyone should take the time to do, for their own sake.  Learn what you believe in, you are what you believe.

I don't think it's just Christians, or all religions at all. But I do find it foolish that some religions tell people to buy their way to their goals, or insights, or even 'pray' for their goals instead of actually trying to do it. I find it funny, as the documentary After Armageddon stated:

"After nothing is left of the world, religion will be a huge thing people will seek, and blame it on the 'sinners' or each other."

Or at least something of that.

I was attempting to spread the blame for these Christians dying in other areas but the problem is, these folks aren't Americans or are of a different ethnicity so they aren't thought of as Christians that matter a whole lot. Also, when the domestic Christians are fed the bill of goods about whatever conflict, they never do any research about the conflict other than what they're told by their parson or by their right wing media talking points. There's no doubt that there's an information war going on and agree that we have to step up our game to offset the manipulations and lies. Thankfully, we now have more prominent political figures in the limelight and on our side to do the higher profile speaking engagements. So, our donations to these guys allows us to speak our voices besides what we do in the grassroots or in party politics as delegates mingling w/ other party delegates. The major blame lays w/ the nonsense pushers but we can only blame them so much since they're "on the clock".

First we have to remember that the so called Christians are more like a combination of various religions than an unified religious group. The Catholics are at odds with the Orthodox, as seen from the Balkan and the Middle East conflicts. During these conflicts, the Catholics have allied with the Muslims (Croats with Bosniaks and Albanians in the Balkans), in order to defeat the Orthodox.
