Does anyone have a suggestion for less noisy fans that could be used to replace the sunon fans? And my fans came without a grill so it sliced off a peice of my finger whilst instaling it, 3 weeks ago now and it still hurts...

Quite honestly I think these are quite overcooled, so any mid range high pressure fans (Corsair I'm looking at you). Might need a small underclock if hash rate goes unstable.

Could you post me a link to a correct model that i could use 'cause I'm a bit new to the miner modding thing... and the miner is not currently at this location so I can't measure anything

It would be these. Its a significant step down in cooling power though so be careful.

No, you need to use newer cgminer & apply the latest patch.
Latest patch is for cgminer 4.6.1.
