The biggest treat to man kind is the ending of resources on this earth.
Inflationary currencies/economy  encourage waste of resources.
bitcoin can stop the process.
This is a good reason why people in banks like bitcoin.

Banks are starting to notice Bitcoin. But the difference is that they are viewing Bitcoin as a serious competitor who is capable of destroying their business, and not as something which can be exploited by them.

The moment they know that their central banking ponzi scheme is no longer going to work and they can make far more money with bitcoin, the banks will do everything in their power to try and force you to convert everything you own to BTC. They will exploit it and love it just as much as the USD, but they won't be able to exploit it nearly as easily or as much as the USD. You can't just print more bitcoin, so banks hate that, but you can't keep stealing money forever by printing it, and they also know that so they will have to learn to love bitcoin or fail.
