I am using cgminer to mine with my BFL bitForce single. Until now i have used one pool and generated about 0.5 BTC per day.

I now started using the CGMiner multipool option with the load-balance strategy.

Before i waste few days to test the new configuration, can anyone tell from his own experience or knowledge if that strategy (Multipool) is better or not in terms of BTC produced per day/month?

Thank You all!

Meni Rosenfeld did a writeup on how you could balance your hash across pools and reduce your variance. But I'm not sure I would bother with only 1 Single. You should of course have failover pools, so that if the main one goes down you can back up to a secondary or tertiary server.
