Just hours ago, I can't help myself crying over the passing of my dearest dog. I'm very emotional but life must go on.

One of my favorite dogs to play has joined her Creator today. She is supposed to celebrate her 11th birthday this February 2021. Her name is Suting and she died from pulmonary edema. This year alone, we've lost 3 dogs including her, all because of various ailments that are already worsening. The other ones are Belgian and German Shepherd a few months ago.

RIP my beloved Suting. I will miss and love you so much! Cry

I'm really sorry for the loss.

Yes I did. Now 3 of them have died this year alone due to various degenerative illnesses that are impossible to be reversed according to the vets. The latest one is the dog that I can't stand losing, because I loved her so much and I always cuddle her when I wanna relieve myself from stress.

Sorry for your loss, OP, but think of this of a positive opportunity.

You get to go rescue an abandoned and possibly abused dog from a shelter!

Don't compare him/her to the old one - just love it and soon you'll be cuddling it and relieving stress again.  Smiley

Sorry for the loss of your dearest puppy.

This makes you a responsible pet owner. Other pet owners don't even give care to their pets if they passed away.

Suting and other pups you've got may not be irreplaceable by another dog but I'm sure they would be happy to see you taking care of their own kind as to how you've taken care of them.

I’m really sorry for your loss OP. I have pets & they literally are family, take some time to mourn & try to recover emotionally.

Vod has a nice idea though, if/when you are ready it’s worth a think.

Once again, sorry for your loss.

Pet Dogs are so caring and humble.
You and Suting were so lucky to have found each other. She will be greatly missed.
But the bitter truth is that, We can never keep them long enough! But she be in our thoughts and prayers.

As quoted by Vod, that would be indeed a good approach.

Remember, the life span of dogs are usually 13 years whereas for humans it's higher, which means if a human survives until the of age 50-60 you can have about 3-4 pets in your human lifespan and give them the same love/attraction regardless of the loss of your previous dog. The fact is when the time is up for the dog they would indeed leave this planet but the humanity/love within you for the dog never dies. So take a deep breath, think positive and move on with a better plan of action.

PS: The year 2020 wasn't good for the majority of the people around. Many people lost their loves one's, not just related to COVID-19 but due to some other things as well. Hopefully the year 2021 would start well.

I still have a couple of male shih tzu/maltese dogs that are now old, in which they may be following Suting (despite that they're older than her). One is overweight and the other one is "kinda blind" because well, dog fight. However, we did adopt a new female shih tzu/maltese for me to cuddle and another guard dog. But Suting will always be one of my favorites to cuddle and play, and it breaks my heart to see her gone now. I'm gonna miss her cute barks inside the house, especially when she's hungry (she always asks for bread lol). But life must goes on, and I have no choice but to move forward and think something positive.

I also have five cats (I rescued one abandoned cat and she's beautiful). I still have a lot to cuddle but I will never forget my moments with Suting. At least she lasted for more than a decade and joined her Creator for eternal life.

RIP my beloved Suting. I will miss and love you so much! Cry
Really sorry to hear about the passing of your dear Suting.  Pulmonary edema is a very serious condition and I am sorry if one of your favorite dogs had to suffer.   They are not going to suffer no more.

Try reading the Rainbow Bridge poem it might help you feel better-  https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/poem.htm

My Deepest condolences Mate that is so sad but yet reaching almost 11 years for a dog is enough for us to treasure the memories we had together.

I can feel your burden because my Cat now is already in Her peak and for 3 days now she was not eating anything and i know she will Leave us anytime soon.

Just Enjoy the memories always because there is always a departure for every one.

I'm so sorry for your loss! Don't ever let anyone tell you that losing an animal is not like losing a family member. Household animals definitely become part of the family, dogs especially! It's one of the worst pains and I'm sorry that you had to through this three times with Covid on top of that. I'm sending prayers your way for sure.
