My friends and I spent quite a few weekends playing poker and learning to mix drinks about twenty years ago and I can tell you that creating an appetizing new drink recipe involves a lot of trial and error (ahh, the sacrifices I endured learning that lesson  ). These days, I don't know anyone who stocks a full bar anymore or I'd give it a shot.
