Sometimes a post really is of interest to 2 (or more) completely unrelated subsections and there is a need to post in both, usually for announcement purposes. There really is no need for there to be two separate threads created in such circumstances if there was a way for there to be a linked version in two different sections, much like a hard link in unix filesystem terms.

That would be great! Will it be like a drop-down list or will we have to write it our own using hash tag like in fb or twitter?
