turns out there's another service provider which covers where i am. suddenlink. never heard of them...call em up, basically, they said they could provide cable tv, but not internet, because of where i am... when i asked what it would take to fix that, the guy said, "another company."
sigh.
That is strange. It's usually the provider who supplies access. If they are not that far away, like you said, you should be able to pay to get access.
Can I get the name of this company?
comapny is called Suddenlink.
http://www.suddenlink.com/i figure he was just giving me the brush off... i plan to call them back and work my way up the chain.
