For Bitcoin to be a true global currency the value of BTC needs always to rise.
If BTC became the global currency & money supply = 100 Trillion then ⊅1.00 BTC = $4,761,904.76.

Just call them centibitoins or move the decimal three spaces and call them millibitcoins .  There's no reason to change anything in the block chain.  In fact I think you can set the client to display your balance in millibitcoins if you want.

For me:  I say,  too soon.

When we switch to mBTC one only needs to change the presentation of the client.
