Has anyone here actually earned from faucets? Have you guys thought if it would be more profitable to spend your time doing something else? No intention to be mean, just curious.
Well, to give you an anecdotal story, here is mine.....
When Bitcoin first popped up on my radar, there were only 2 faucets in existence. Both of these, at the time, dispensed 0.02 Bitcoin. This was in June or July of 2001. Being new to Bitcoin, I hit both of them up.
(EDIT: June or July of 2011, rather..... hahahaha! Oh well....)So, even at today's low price for Bitcoin, those 2 transactions are worth $13.22
$13.22 for 15 seconds of my time.
Yeah, I think profited from that.
The real question is, do you think cryptocurrency prices will go up enough in the future that dealing with faucets now will pay out in the long run? I still think the answer to that is "yes", depending on the cryptocurrency in question, of course... for most cryptos, it's speculation. But really.... is that 10 or 15 seconds of your time going to "pay out" doing something else? Maybe, maybe not. Depends on what else you are doing... perusing Facebook? Playing World of Warcraft? Watching YouTube videos? There's lots of "time-wasting" things everyone takes part in online. Why not a cryptocoin faucet?
