Personally, I am investing $100 in Dogecoins.. ($50 remaining to invest).. and may be in STR ($100)

I am not an expert but one thing I can say that no one is SURE about their opinion.. If you are asking "should I invest in Dogecoin?" then you will receive 100 suggestions for alt coins..

I will suggest you to research hard and Invest.. Don't believe on other's opinion, build your own. If you believe in particular coin's growth, then go for it..!!

In my honest opinion, Crypto currencies are going to rock the world in future (If govt of countries have no problem)..!!

Good luck..!!

One thing which is guaranteed about any memes is that they will fade away. This happens with 100% of today's memes. Now, dogecoin has an amazing community, much like other communities revolving around memes. However, if you look any deeper, dogecoin has no innovative value at all in the crypto space.

100 is very low risk, so I wish you good luck. Just Google "how to print a dogecoin paper wallet" and lock it away somewhere safe (more than 1 copy in more than 1 place).

I'm not so convinced about all this hype around innovation. Some things don't really need to evolve into something better every few days. The only reason devs are always coming up with 'new features' is to entice people to invest in their coin instead of the 100's of other coins around. If it were only about innovation, then people would've already dumped Bitcoin for a coin with more features. It's about how wide a coin's distribution is, how many people use it. That's what's important and dogecoin has done extremely well in that area.
I got into Dogecoin a few days after it launched and I remember people saying the exact same thing then, that the meme will fade away in a few weeks along with the coin. I think Doge is here to stay.
