Hi,

My v0.9.3 app on WinXP crashes frequently if I leave it running too long.  Recently that has been the case, now I can't even get the app to finishing booting up.  ....even after I have rebooted the computer.

Basically the Bitcoin Core crashes when the startup box is up and says "loading addresses".

What solutions are out there to get this resolved?

Thanks in advance.

In the data directory there is a file called debug.log. Do you see any error messages there?

It's hard to help without further information, but starting Bitcoin-Qt with the "-reindex" flag may help. Keep in mind that this will take a long time, as it causes Bitcoin-Qt to rebuild the blockchain index and UTXO on disk. Also, I suggest that you upgrade from Windows XP to at least Windows 7 since XP has been out of support for so long, though Linux would be better if you're comfortable with it and the rest of the software you use is compatible.
