Hi,
SDK won't install! In the install log it just says "AMD APP SDK.... Final Status: FAIL" and I can't figure out what to do. Any help? Thanks!

With this card you are way beyond ufasoft miner.
Remove all the drivers you installed.
Download ATI catalyst suite http://www2.ati.com/drivers/11-5_vista64_win7_64_dd_ccc_ocl.exe
Then download phoenix miner https://www.bitcoin.org/smf/index.php?topic=6458.0
and you should be all set to go. If you want to overclock/underclock your card, download MSI afterburner http://event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/download.htm

Donations welcome  Wink

try typing in the following

Code:
phoenix -u http://tehzomb_gpu2:********@btcguild.com:8332 -k poclbm DEVICE=0 VECTORS BFI_INT AGGRESSION=7

don't forget to replace ***** with your password

if you downloaded binaries you don't need anything
are you getting the same output?

are you sure removed all previous drivers and then installed this http://www2.ati.com/drivers/11-5_vista64_win7_64_dd_ccc_ocl.exe ?
on the phoenix thead similar errors are caused by sdk not being installed

I looked at the logs, and next to SDK runtime it says "Final Status: Fail" but gives no solutions, and google isn't being very helpful. I checked my envars and they are all ok. Any idea?

Obviously sdk is at fault. The only solution I can think of is to uninstall it, reboot and try installing again.

I tried that, and I also tried installing the SDK seperate. no dice.

I'll rename the topic and change the OP to hopefully get some more help. Thanks for your effort Smiley

No problem. If you are after a particular miner, I'd suggest you try that miner's thead

Well - it appears it was a conflict with some old stale drivers I have now removed.

Thanks for all your help - again, and once I get some mining done I'll be sure to send you a tip Grin
