Unfortunately it didn't work out.
The transaction is an international transfer apparently, and the Vanilla Visa doesn't work with that I guess.
I think the company is based in the UK or something, so yeah.

Seems like if that article is correct, you should drain the VV to Google Wallet balance first, then use the GW balance to pay.

I think that can only be used to withdraw cash from ATMs, not money directly into the google wallet balance.
