Glad I took my coins off of Mintpal when they were hacked. Everyone should have done that at that time.

The once so popular exchange is nearly gone, and it's actually sad. I have had a great time there when they were handling 4000+BTC volumes per day.

They can't run an exchange, they even can't do server migration.... Says enough.

We need security for our BTC.  Exchanges and wallet services need to make the leap to provide
coverage for assets

after mintpal closing down, I don't trust exchanges any more. I will never keep more than 2 btc on an exchange unless I am actively trading with it
