my plan is to have one of them antminer s3+ mining solo using the bitsolo.net and the other one mining slush pool.

That is NOT correct... There is NEVER a 100% chance in any amount of time.  The percentage approaches 100 asymptotically.

In fact, it is theoretically possible the whole network will never find another block..

Solo mining with 1TH, on average you will find a block once every 5 years. Thats assuming difficulty doesnt go up, which is a silly assumption.
Those odds are way too small to be reasonable IMO.  If you like throwing dice, mine on a small pool.  The smaller the pool is, the higher the variability, which of course can work in or against your favor, depending if you're lucky or not.  Id recommend bitminter as a small (but rather excellent and trustworthy) pool.

find a stable setting for the miner and mine at a pool... make sure your getting more coin then your paying for elec. profit!

I would tell you to tell us your power cost for the 1th of hash.

 Your gear's watt total   is  about 1000 or 1 k-watt.  So do you pay 5 cents 10 cents 15 cents or  more a kwatt?

 5 cents is 36 a month
10 cents is 72 a month
15 cents is 108 a month
20 cents is 144 a month

 If you are willing to lose that much and never get a penny back ever solo mine right here
