Just to let the newbies know, even if you dont have a signature campaign available that you can join, you can promote your own website or affiliate links through your signature.
A word of caution though: Do not go around creating spam posts to boost your post count or activity levels. Signature campaign managers these days are very strict and will flag you as a spammer if you post un-necessary single line posts or +1's and stuff.
This will lead to campaign managers banning you from their respective campaigns. So post only when you feel you are contributing to the conversation and not just for the sake of increasing your post count or activity score
