I love Bitcoin I really do but I just can't see businesses adopting it like I wish they would.
Bitcoin is a 'thing' of the moment like the Harlem Shake.

I hold over 4 bitcoin and spend weekly although it's only about £12 worth. I usually buy from takeaway from takeaway.com although I also bought from bitstickers this week.

I would love to know I can spend bitcoin anywhere, supermarkets, taxis, buses, local shops but I just can't see it happening.
Where do you live? in spain you can cash out in ATMs through BTCPoint and bit2me, i was in a holiday trip and it was great cashing out instantly. Of course ideally you would see bitcoin being accepted directly but wait it up we are still in the early 90's of the internet when it comes to btc.

If you compare that 5 years ago with the progress it has made thus far, I'm sure nobody would expect things to move so fast. So if you fast forward that to another 5 years, probably you will come back wondering why you have asked that question here in the first place. Regardless one thing for sure is that it won't fizzle just like that.

Soda fizzles... Bitcoin will still go to the Moon.  Cool

This negativity must end.... As long as merchants and transaction volume increase... we will still continue and grow bigger.

There are still good signs that things will improve in the near future.  Grin

Harlem shake you say..

Did the harlem shake last 5+ years "a moment", does it have anything to do with crypto or can it be spent?

Food, taxi's, supermarkets, takeaways. buses, right that is what will make bitcoin. The job is on you to get your local shop to accept it why are you so lazy and unhelpful if you love something? If you would "love" these places to accept it then stop eating and show them the power of this.

Good luck on your journey.

My daughter does taikwondo and today I was booking her class for next week and the owner was there with a saleswoman and they were discussing payments.
The form she was filling in was asking for cheque and she was saying she hadn't used a check book for years but she had found an old one at the back of her drawers.
They went on to talk about visa and saying they charge X percent..

At this point I could have piped in about bitcoin but I didn't,  I don't like explaining stuff and I am no salesperson.
