I saw people selling for 1.8 to 1.9 per key even with PayPal it's maximum 1.95.

While I do have to agree with you that $2.25 per key is expensive. And the only reason that I am selling for that rate is supply and demand. Looks like Master-P is the only one selling any keys, Chroma only I think? I could be wrong. I'm selling any key. Don't matter what type. Also selling anything in the community market for 5% off.


Edit:Master-P has esports keys. Not Chroma. Just going by the thread title only. Haven't read his updated thread. I still could be wrong.

I'm not denying that it is expensive. And I will grant the word expensive just because of the btc payment factor anyways. The cost is below market value. Nobody has to buy any keys from me, I'm not forcing them to nor care if I really sell any keys. I'm only doing this to help people on here that can't buy keys from their steam account or that are looking for a small discount. This is what I'm doing today since I'm off work. It will give me something to do, while I'm at home. I like being on the forums. I like talking to people. I"m not doing this everyday, nor plan on it. Its just something to do today

As a steam trader I do understand that demand is high while supplies are low
However $2.25 is still overpriced, $0.25 less than steam
Especially with the current btc drop
You should be reasonable and go down to $1.9ish

Honestly Ejarwan, If I did that, I would have to cut my lazy day short and go add funds to my account. While it is 5 minutes walking away, I really didn't want to have to do that unless they was a good amount of money involved. If I have to get out of the house today, I will sell a minimum of 10 keys for $20 in BTC at prev rates. That's still a 15% discount on the keys.

Keys can sell for $2 each for BTC easily now, even people on /r/globaloffensivetrade are starting to do it. The lack of third party key suppliers due to the 7 day steam market trade restriction has caused key prices to go up tremendously in the past few weeks. I am not sure if it will go up any higher but for the sake of comparison, keys were only selling at $1.7 BTC each at most before the trade restriction came into place.
