I'm not considering anything a "rise" until we pass 300 and continue upwards. A couple of bucks is nothing. Business as usual.

There are so many bitcoin related websites which have come up. They need to publish articles on bitcoin and technical analysis, even when things are quiet. That is why you have such speculation.  Smiley

We were at 335 a few weeks ago. This is not really a rise, just normal BTC price fluctuations. They were a bit smallers lately, better get used to the old rythm.

A few weeks ago? More like months ago, we clipped $300s at the coinbase news a while back, but we haven't seen $330+ for 6 months

Well time is relative when you're a trader i guess Smiley. I'm betting that there will be much more of these small pumps before the real rise is to happen.
Going straight up without making a dip here and there isn't fun anyways - no profits to be made.

cheers

Its been rising in my view.

But thats just seeing from the value of zero to where it is now, and staying mid $200 is even better. Intially I dont think we`ll hit value of back to zero.

if you look at the big picture the price is not really rising. it is just back at the price which it were two weeks ago. but it is still good to see the price at a somewhat fixed range of $220-$230.

ps. just wait a couple of days and we can see trolls coming up with bitcoin is dying again Cheesy

what do you mean not rising?

and when you mention big picture, are you also referring to 6 years starting mark at price or no.
i meant if you look at the price change in the last couple of weeks. it had somewhat similar changes, the price goes down ~$15 and then comes back up ~$10 and then goes down ~$10 and again goes back up ~$12.
all i am saying is that, if price goes past these small changes then we can call it rising.

Same opinion but the trend is more lateral than upwards with turns downward to new lows.
Whether the pattern will rise up and break through after these last few months is where it might get interesting.
Breaking out of ranges is always good but its likely still a bit away from a breaking point.
