Any kind of rise is welcome, even if it just shuts the ridiculous trolls up on here.
I think the COIN ETF is still some time away from being regulated & released but the Gemini Exchange could begin trading in the next 2-3 months. Gemini will almost certainly have a positive impact on the price so I'd say every single bitcoin you can afford to buy now is a great investment as with the next halving only a year away I think we'll probably see at least a 50% price rise on what one bitcoin is worth today.

The main reason for the small rise of bitcoin is the litecoin pump.

Plus the 3 million $ increase in swaps (that's about 13k more BTC that will have to be sold).

Sometimes, if it looks too bullish, it's actually bearish

Why would Gemini have any more/different impact than ItBit or Coinbase Exchange? People who really want a US based and compliant exchange already have options, and the volume isn't all that impresssive.

COIN trading on nasdaq probably would have an impact on the price.

The artificial 2.7 tx per second limit, and the intransigence of people on either side of the argument for raising it, is much more concerning for the long game. I don't see any substantive rally until that is sorted, which is good, because the network couldn't handle the traffic another bull run would generate in its current state.

Hmm, you made me check the price!
232 isn't rising, 300+ is rising!

232 is near the bottom of a long and low decline, that hopefully will start to turn around soon!

We were at 335 a few weeks ago. This is not really a rise, just normal BTC price fluctuations. They were a bit smallers lately, better get used to the old rythm.

We have not reached last month's peak of $245, or $260 in April. It's not a rise, but I would like this trend to follow through and volume to pick up some what. I checked Litecoin price, as someone metioned a pump. It is incredible Litecoin rose more than 40% in the past week.

Implant a feeling of loss everytime bitcoin goes up and falls back down enough times, and when the real pump/hype begins , they won't know how to react until it's too late.
imho, if you are holding then hold, people shouldn't be so thrilled with few bucks of a price variation.

cheers

Well, you should get in @ 2xx and triple your holdings.
You will feel a lot better when it gets back to those highs.

I gotta say i envy you if that really true, used to have almost a thousand, but now even 100 bitcoins is a dream for me.
Many older users are facing the same issue, and that is part of a reason why i want to have as much as possible asap, to block possibility of higher prices that would cap. me even lower.
Sure hope im right tho  Roll Eyes

cheers

only returning to the previous price, not actually rising, are you aware that we are still in the same fucking range since months

230-250, there is no movements, you can start talk about a rise when we increase above 250 at least

when there hasn't been any kind of movement in the price for some time, people start to get excited over a $5 rise. which isn't even worth being happy about.

A few weeks ago? More like months ago, we clipped $300s at the coinbase news a while back, but we haven't seen $330+ for 6 months

if you look at the big picture the price is not really rising. it is just back at the price which it were two weeks ago. but it is still good to see the price at a somewhat fixed range of $220-$230.

ps. just wait a couple of days and we can see trolls coming up with bitcoin is dying again Cheesy

what do you mean not rising?

and when you mention big picture, are you also referring to 6 years starting mark at price or no.
