I honestly did not like the GUI very much at all. Have you tried using BFGMiner? I had it up and running pretty quick with that and was getting really good speeds.

Beware of scammers.

Look at this part - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1022764.msg11068189#msg11068189

It links to bfgminer commands.  The GUI they use also uses bfgminer as the backend of it.

I don't think the pictures will work. My site is down as mentioned before, doing some work, but I copied this from the SQL database where the posts are...

Open up the box and get out your Avalon Nano.

Install the device into a free USB port. Note that these get hot! So an external USB rail like this: <a href="http://amzn.to/1ZAIvnI" target="_blank">13 Port Powered USB</a> would be best.

download the USB drivers for your nano

Extract the rar file using winrar to your current directory

If you extract it somewhere else make note of the location as you will need it later

Now go to your device manager by right clicking on the Windows start button and choosing Device Manager.

Look for the device labeled "VCOM" and right click on it. Then choose "Update driver software..."

Next choose "Browse my computer for driver software"

Now you need to point to the location where you extracted the USB drivers you downloaded above.

Take note of the COM port noted in the above screen. As you can see mine was installed on COM3.

Now go to the BFGMiner website and download the latest version: <a href="http://bfgminer.org/" target="_blank">BFGMiner</a> (Note: You will probably want the 64bit version)

Once the download finishes, move to the folder and extract it to a known location. I use the base folder of the C drive where Windows is installed.

Now move to the folder and create a new text file, name it something you will remember.

Note: Not pictured - You need to go under the 'View' option in the File Explorer and make sure "File name extensions" is clicked.

Now rename the extension of your text file to yourname.bat

Right click on the file and choose "Edit" to edit the file. Add the lines shown below (all one line) and make sure to insert the correct information for your COM port and Mining Pool info.

bfgminer.exe -o YOUR POOL URL -u YOUR WORKER -p YOUR PASSWORD -S ICA:\\.\COMYOUR COM NUMBER --set-device ICA:baud=115200 --set-device ICA:reopen=timeout --set-device ICA:work_division=1 --set-device ICA:fpga_count=1 --set-device ICA:probe_timeout=100 --set-device ICA:timing=0.22 --api-listen

Now save the file and right-click and choose "Run as Administrator"

You should be greeted with BFGMiner and your device should work. If not, verify your Pool settings, the syntax for your text file, and your COM port

Remember these get really hot. If you want to lower the temp a bit you can buy some little heatsinks on Amazon here: <a href="http://amzn.to/1SlLAGk" target="_blank">Heatsinks</a>

These are great because they already have the adhesive on them. You can fit up to 6 of these on one Nano if you really want.

Also small USB fans work really well too since you can plug them into the port. This is the one I use and recommend: <a href="http://amzn.to/1SlLCOl" target="_blank">USB Fan</a>

Beware of scammers.

Make sure your setting the right com port on it.   It should work as long as that is set.  You might look in devices to make sure it's being detected right.

But if all is good just setting 1 proper com port there should work if miner is there.

COM16 is high... are you sure you are using the right one?

don't use avalonmm when you try and add.. use:  ICA:\\.\COM16

what version of bfgminer are you using? Make sure it is the latest version.

I know some don't like it but you might try the GUI.  Just to see if it works doing that.  Seems like your hitting a wall with bfgminer.   Try the gui and see if you have any luck with it.  Even if you just do it to prove stick works.

My tutorial is back up.. I suggest you uninstall and revert anything you have done and start over following this tutorial. I think you might have some really odd things going on to be honest.
