^For those who don't know, the above user is also me, Bruno, and used mainly for comic relief.

Seriously, I think we have something here folks. http://www.nicepeter.com/about.php

Quote
Nice Peter is a self-described comedian/musician specializing in original music and comedy via his popular and very successful YouTube channels (www.youtube.com/nicepeter and www.youtube.com/nicepetertoo). With over 300 million views and 1.2 million subscribers, Peter is one of the most popular and prominent personalities on the platform.

Peter has been developing his comedic and musical talents since childhood. At the insistence of his mother, he joined an Irish dance troupe at age 8, performing at community events around Rochester, New York. He was self-taught in guitar by the time he completed high school, though briefly leaving music to focus on his comedy and acting. He spent more than ten years working in improve and standup comedy, playing shows in Chicago, Los Angeles, England, and a thousand strange clubs in between. After permanently settling in Los Angeles, former improv co-star Lloyd Ahlquist brought him on board to write for then start-up company Maker Studios (www.makerstudios.com). Finally, Peter found a dynamic and creative group of content creators that allowed him to "be himself." Now, he is able to channel that same energy he has for live performances to engage with a dedicated and loyal audience worldwide.

Keeping everyone laughing with the Epic Rap Battles of History series and his weekly Monday Show, Peter dedicates most of his time to producing only the best videos for his extremely supportive fans. He was recently named the King of Dot Comedy by G4 Network's Attack of the Show, and he has been profiled by the Wall Street Journal, The Huffington Post, and the January 2012 edition of Wired Magazine, to name a few.

Here's the latest number on his YouTube channel.

Here's what I'm thinking. A battle rap between PayPay and Bitcoin. Chances are damn good that the video will get over 10 million views, and that would make it the most viewed video about Bitcoin. As an incentive, we could guarantee a $1,000 USD equivalent donation to him. The only thing he would need to agree to is put the Bitcoin logo on his site for one year. Since Peter is not a charity, funds would have to be donated via another means. A vanity address may also be in order. I'm 95% sure he'll go for it because this is probably his main source of income--singing.

Let's discuss this and see where it leads.

Thank you, firetop, for providing the video.

~Bruno~

PS: Please ignore if 10M new people learning about Bitcoin is not important at this time. 10M+ people that is that watch the video on their smartphones.

I don't mind aiming for a home run, generally. But I do when knowing I haven't loaded all my bases yet.

I know exactly what your saying there. My only counter argument is that maybe by exposing Bitcoin to a shitload of people, one of those people may be the one to help develop the Holy Gail that Bitcoin currently needs to function effectively at the mainstream level. It's akin to asking God why he hasn't send anybody down to help with all the ills in the world, whereupon God replies with he did, but the poor soul was aborted at six months.

I, too, know what you're saying there and I've been having the same thinking as of late. Perhaps I should just unleash my crapload of half-finished ideas and see where they hit the field.

(I just felt the need to link to this:)

I'd be all for donating to that fund... But I imagine it would somewhat difficult to make - Then again I'm not at all musical or artistic. I'm thinking maybe we wait for a few months on this idea until asics have landed - hopefully we'll be able to support more transactions per second then.
