Hello
I am solo mining a coin for a few days and an hour ago I found out that the only existing pool of that coin is 10 blocks ahead of my wallet.
Now my question is that.
Is it possible the pool is on a wrong blockchain and I am in the correct?

I mean can you tell by who is "ahead" in blocks if he is on the correct blockchain?

I have 5 active connections (nodes) and pool has one.

There is no working block explorer.

It shows that I am getting all blocks and pool shows it's getting them all.

I have just tried to create a new wallet and while the blockchain is loading I still see the block I stopped mining with the old wallet and it's not moving.
Is this an indication that the pool is on wrong one?

Thanks

I have the similar problem before. I found out the problem when my block generation speed was very high.

You could be on the test net and you can check that through the console. Type help and it will show up the command

yes, you can be on a wrong fork, it can happen when mining solo (especially at launch)
Try to resync your wallet (delete all the blockchain, not the wallet of course).
Wallet should then pick the correct fork, whichever it is.
