Our aim is to make Iguana as easy to use as possible, but we are not quite there yet. The most important thing to understand are the three different modes you can use:
- Basilisk Mode - the lightweight mode where you don't have to download blockchain, however it is slower
- Full Mode - good performance and fast, but you need to download the blockchain
- Native Mode - this is the same as 'Full Mode', but available for few coins only and gives you advanced functions.

10 million Komodo coins are reserved for development, advisers and bounties.
90 million Komodo coins will be distributed to those who participated in the ICO either with BTC or later with BTCD via the swap procedure. In other words, some percentage will go to those who invested with BTC and the remaining portion to those who will swap their BTCD to KMD after the ICO.
Komodo ICO began on October 15th, 2016 and finished on November 20th, 2016. Prior to ICO we received 500 BTC as angel investments. The ICO was a success and we raised 2639 BTC.
35% bonus: 500 BTC
30% bonus: 0 BTC
25% bonus: 980 BTC
20% bonus: 606.84 BTC
15% bonus: 286.70 BTC
10% bonus: 38.18 BTC
5% bonus: 21.34 BTC
0% bonus: 200.97 BTC
The following exchange rates were calculated after the ICO:
1 BTC = 7746,521995 KMD (0.00012909 BTC/KMD)
1 BTCD = 50,42041779 KMD
BTCD can be swapped throughout the year 2017. The swap rate keeps decreasing little bit everyday, and after 365 days it will be 5 % lower. All swapped coins end up to this BTCD address

We are not a traditional business or a corporation, and neither do we have a bureaucratic hiring process.
Our team has been hired from our community, and we prefer to hire people we already see contributing. Thus if you want to get hired, it is important to actively engage with us and be genuinely interested in what we do.
If you have a project idea, we strongly encourage you to bring it forward and mention it in our Slack. If the idea has merit, the odds are very good that you will quickly find people who will fund it.
Don't be shy. Most of the key contributors you see today initially were outside the SuperNET and just by doing what they like doing, they are now key contributors. Even if you don't have a particular project, there are many pre-existing projects within SuperNET that you can contribute toward. Key contributors are indeed rewarded, for example with stakes in the projects they are working on.
Because we are a decentralized organization, anybody could join at any time and become a key contributor. And we are very open to new people, new ideas, and new projects.FrenchRussianGermanPortugueseChineseSpanish
Visit our press pagehttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1659890.0How to send your KMD to an exchange
- go to 'home' tab
- click 'use exsisting KMD address'
- input the deposit KMD address you got from an exchange
- Now that you have the correct KMD address you can proceed to the 'payout' tab
- Since you are using a 3rd party address you don't have the seed, and thus you will click 'skip'
- Follow instructions and confirm the withdrawalWarning: make sure you are doing the withdrawal to a correct address! Once we send out the KMD there is no way to retrieve it.How to send your KMD to your own KMD address
1) go to home page, click 'HOME'
2) If you don't have a seed generate a new one by clicking 'Reset Seed', follow the instructions
3) Double check your seed matches with the KMD address, click 'Check KMD address', follow the instructions
4) go to 'PAYOUT' tab
5) click 'Request payout'
6) type the seed, click 'confirm'
7) click 'send'
8 ) wait that we process the payout (check your KMD address from kpx.io)
9) after we have paid, you can open Iguana Desktop App
10) Select 'full mode' or 'basilisk mode' and insert your seed to the desktop appIguana Desktop App
Install the Iguana to send/receive Komodo. Launch Komodo in either 'full mode' or 'basilisk mode'.
Links to step by step instructions can be found from the website.
Keep in mind that the Iguana was just launched and it's status is 'public beta', thus there are some bugs. However, using your funds in 'full mode' or 'basilisk mode' is safe.
For now it is not possible to generate more addresses, but when it is you will have to backup those addresses. You can always get an access to the first address that is generated with your seed, so as long as you don't generate any additional addresses all you need is the seed.
Keep in mind that the funds are not really in your wallet - they are in the blockchain. The wallet is used to monitor, send, and receive funds. Please keep in mind that with the 12 word seed anyone could access your funds and steal them, so store it somewhere safe and don't share it.
