I'm not talking about my own activity.

This guy- Mylon has joined here on 2013 and made 256 posts. His current activity is 140.
His last post was from 2013. Why his activity is still at 140?

How is forum activity calculated?
Activity is calculated with the following formula:
Code:
activity = min(time * 14, posts)
Activity is increased by staying logged in or by posting and is updated every 30 minutes. There is a maximum of 14 activity points every 2 weeks.
You have to post minimum one post is the 2 weeks period to get the next 14 activity. (I can't find the reference now but I am sure my memory is serving me with correct data)

Be happy be at peace. Looking forward to BTC at $1M

So, if I post 100 times a day, and don't log in after that, will not I be able to Jr Member?
You edited the post. I got it now.

Because the activity does not decrease with time. Activity will decrease if delete his posts. If remove all his posts, it will become Brand New. Did you mean it?

user made 256 posts during April-December 2013, in total this period has about 270 days.
He posts regularly, sometimes several posts per day, except for the period: Aug/13, Sep/13, Oct/13 and some days skipped from Jun/13 (maybe around 150 days in total and we know being offline and not posting at 14 days intervals do not record any activity).
The offline time during these months and lack of posting according to the activity formula, at 14 days intervals (maybe around 190 days in total) might explain why he has less activity recorded. The activity was synched with the posts during his active months, the missing time online is also affecting activity and there is a maximum of activity points every 2 weeks (14 activity maximum, whereas the posts, can be more as he posted more during aprox. 5 mo period but then pause)
I cannot see the detailed statistic for the user but will return later with counting exactly how many posts/days/activity ratio, this is just quick look, hope I am not mistaken

No, I meant why his activity is less than posts. I got the answer from mdayonliner.
