and we need to be careful too with this campaign, Candle coin opened their own campaign and tried to put virus on their wallet Roll Eyes
and some of them are running away without payment or a late payment Sad

So right now I'll stick with Bitcoin based campaign, Thank you Tongue

Well exactly thats why I feel that the altcoins signature payout should be in bitcoin instead of altcoin .I really exactly do feel that altcoins are getting a free promotion and i don't know why participants of altcoin's signature campaign are not asking for escrow whenever a new altcoin signature campaign comes out.As a part of campaign ,a participant should ask for proof of funds.

Well, the reason someone wanted to start alt coin campaign is to promote their alt coins, so I think by making them paying in bitcoin kinda negates the reason why they started alt coin campaign in the first place Tongue

The same reason why some of bitcoin campaign decided to pay their participants to their website account instead directly to their address Wink

Although I agree on you, that somehow participant just blindly joins the campaign without any escrow at all, that is very risky (and has happened few times in the past )
I was actually a victim from one of the campaign that ran away once and since that moment I only choose a campaign that are managed by trusted member or at least an escrow Grin

For me it's always bitcoin campaigns as I don't use altcoins nor do I have any idea about how to trade them. Those users who have an interest in altcoins find it best to join those signature campaigns as some believe that altcoins can get more successful than BTC while those who believe more in bitcoins prefer the BTC campaigns.

I'm interested to hear some opinions.
What do you think about signature campaigns that pay in alts?

It is their own decision to decide whether to pay with bitcoin or alts, but most campaigns that pays in alts are those who want distribute their altcoin before release. It has both plus and minus :
Plus:
- altcoins maybe dumped significantly, so members may get more btc by selling it.
Minus:
- altcoins may have so low value, so it will be worthless for those who join the campaign.

I've been out of the altcoin scene for a long time. So I would not do it. What's bad is most alts seems to be scams.
So even if you get paid, you are never sure it the coin will be worth anything at all.

The signature campaign for atlcoin are much less compared to bitcoin signature campaign.
Both are going to compete each other at the same level regarding to the price and popularity but there is less usage for altcoins always as a normal currency as compared to bitcoin.

Etherum seems to be showing some promise of recent.

Ethereum has been down quite a bit lately, so that promise is running out of steam in the moment, Ethereum used to be 0.028-0.032 BTC not long ago and now its price is 0.0175 which is quite down compared to 0.032BTC almost half price down, I think all the hype about ethereum trying to replace bitcoin is truly out of steam now.
