I think that it is good for the community because most of the view/posts are in the alt board and why not paying participants on their currency, also there are lots of avatar campaigns which most of them were from the alt boards.

Currently i have seen that a new signature and avatar campaign is opened but the reward isn't high, they do not pay per post but just for a time frame like 72h or 7days or 2weeks. This: CLOAKCOIN SIGNATURE & AVATAR CAMPAIGN for the avatar is equivalent of 0.006 for 2 weeks.

Lol, I didn't know about alt-coins signature campaigns, but I think the BTC campaigns are very superior at this moment... The rates are better because this is the protagonist of crypto-currencies and people prefer to use it.

But if any day an alt-coin signature campaign start paying good rates I will give a look on it.

I have seen a very nice Avatar campaign which pays in BTC, and is being done by some altcoin Squak coin if I remember well. Unfortunately that avatar campaign is full otherwise I would gladly be part of it to promote as my avatar. Their payment is very very good.

Altcoin signature campaign are to promote and grow the altcoin network where as bitcoin related signature campaign are usually from sites which uses bitcoin as payment method including gambling sites, bitcoin blog, etc. However some of the altcoin related service companies have also started running signature campaign paid in bitcoin recently.

I prefer signatures campaigns  that pays in btc because I do not hold any altcoin. I do not see any stability in altcoins prices and it is even more volatile than bitcoin. and I believe that most of distributed coins are worthless

I think altcoin signatures are a good thing, from the devs side it is a great way to get some exposure in the forum.

If you are a participant it could be an interesting experience, we know altcoins can go sky high and hit rock bottom all in one day especially some of the newly released ones so sometimes you might receive a great payment when converted to bitcoin and then other times you might receive hardly anything, It adds a different angle to signature campaigns.

like what everyone said Altcoin signature campaign maybe will be good for dev and community , but if must choose i prefer to do bitcoin signature campaign because no need to exchange altcoin in market if i get paid with altcoin

I have seen a couple of them, those that pay in bitcoin are good. not the signature but the avatar like the SQUALL coin avatar.
but those altcoin signature campaigns that pay in their own altcoin are not good at all because most of them are new projects so you will have to install their wallet and in many cases those might even be malware instead of wallet. and on top of that there is the price problem that might go so much down by the time you want to sell them and take the BTC so it is a big loss.

Alts can be converted into BTC, as long as they are listed to an exchange.
Of course, there are signature campaigns for alts even before they get listed - that's risky, some may never actually get listed to any exchange.

If the payment is good and if it's an alt you hold or can convert easily into Bitcoin, why not?
Just please don't advertise obvious scams.

I already tried altcoin signature campaign and also now i am joined in bitcoin signature campaign.. and the difference of the 2 is the rate.. bitcoin are more high rate than altcoin.. but you can get more bounty in altcoin that you can earn more..

it depend to the person who want to choose type of the payment but i personally more likely signature campaign who pay me in btc and not with altcoins because altcoins prices highly fluctuate

Sometimes altcoin has the best and high rate than btc.. but the problem is you need to convert it into bitcoin or you just wait for the price increase to make more profitable..

Agreed with you point of view!!.Just sharing an incident-I only once joined an altcoin avatar campaign but the campaign manager made us late payment but luckily that altcoin's price boomed up from 0.007 to 0.025btc an i get a nice payout for 1 week that was more than my signature payout at that time.

Well i also think that one should do some quick research about altcoin before joining its signature or other promotional campaign.

Recently i have checked that new Alt coins introduced are using signature campaign also to promote the Alt coin but the payment is very less, the pay which they give is what a newbie get more than in yobit signature campaign, and what one of the user told is the price is very fluctuation for alt coins , holding can make you King from Poor or will make you Poor from King. So bitcoin signature campaign is much better

But in future cannot say if alt coins also gives more on signature campaign.

I too agree here as most altcoins don't have much value and as far as I have seen, not many people enroll in those campaigns unless they want to try out something new. Mostly people are participating in bitcoin signature campaigns as the pay is high.

That is the positive side of joining alt coins signature campaign
But, we will need to have knowledge of trading and market price to know which coin that has the potential to launch upwards and the one that will stay in the same spot

and we need to be careful too with this campaign, Candle coin opened their own campaign and tried to put virus on their wallet
and some of them are running away without payment or a late payment

So right now I'll stick with Bitcoin based campaign, Thank you
