Hi folks, meaby some of you would start writing new TBX without premine coins ?

Main idea is to be CPU ONLY Smiley

well this would be a good idea in a way.
Imagine if a alt-currency only worked upon CPU,
then everyone in the world with computers can jump at it
and earn a piece of the decentralized currency.

With bitcoin, you have to have a ASIC miner,
or a special device to have a share of it,
anything else will be too small to be even worth it.

Billions of people have computers, to have a widespread decentralized
global currency, we would need something that is easily accessible
and mine-able by anyone, within reason.

With bitcoin if you use CPU, you get like 50,000 times slower then a ASIC miner.
And I doubt billions of people or general population will get into bitcoins.

Only nerds and computer tech guys that have their hobbies in computers,
will most likely get into bitcoins.  Smiley

OH NO ASICs!! BETTER DEAD THAN ASIC!

Everyone, prepare to fight against the spread of ASICs! Change your algorithms! Buy the latest CPUs! Sabotage ASIC manufactors!!!  Cheesy Cheesy

TradeFortress has left me negative trust and has provided no proof to substantiate his claim. He has done this to discredit me as I am investigating him.

Fairbrix (FBX) was TBX without a premine.  Designing a true CPU-only coin would be quite difficult, due to the highly parallelizable nature of proof of work.

The goal is noble, but ultimately unwise. You don't want a CPU only coin. You want a coin where super-computers can be designed and built for it. It's important for the security of the coin. CPU only coins are vulnerable to botnets which are widespread and cheap. ASIC's (and GPUS to some extent) protect  against this threat.

more or less retired.
