Hey guys!

I'm having the same problem with the 3 antminer that I have at home. They are with all leds turned on, I can access them with web interface and ssh but they won't hash.

I already tried to serial into them to erase rootfs, flash a new different firmware, tried different PSU's

The funny thing is that if I connect just one blade to the controller I can successfuly hash..

Can someone give me some advice?

Best regards

What PSU's are you trying when you said tried different ones?  I ask as if it can run one blade... make me maybe look at power.   At least that is where I would look.

The odd thing is to have same problem on 3 antminers.  Are they new to you? Or have you had them and they suddenly stopped working?

They suddenly stopped working..

I tried them one at a time with an Aerocool Strike X 1100W, Corsair RM850, Corsair HX750i (brand new) and the problem persists.

All the controllers can handle just one blade at a time. all the 6 blades are hashing but separately.  Sad

Are you able to run both blades on a single s3 with the 1100W power supply?

I'm not sure on quality of Aerocool Strike X after a little searching.  I would try 1 miner with Corsair RM850 and see what happens with just one going.

What all did you change when you were deleting stuff during "I already tried to serial into them to erase rootfs"?

I tried all miners with my RM850 and the problem remains.

Basically I connected like this
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=775662.0

and entered the following commands

 tftpboot 0x80000000 antMiner_xxxx.bin
 erase 0x9f020000 +0x7c0000
 cp.b 0x80000000 0x9f020000 0x7c0000
 reset

I tried all miners with my RM850 and the problem remains.

Basically I connected like this
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=775662.0

and entered the following commands

 tftpboot 0x80000000 antMiner_xxxx.bin
 erase 0x9f020000 +0x7c0000
 cp.b 0x80000000 0x9f020000 0x7c0000
 reset

Did you try flashing firmware via the GUI?  Or were you using the serial to usb, as that seems like what link is talking about.

The RM850 should have no problem powering 1, so we can rule out power as cause.  When you say it would run with 1 hashing board earlier on are you able to do this with both blades? (Meaning both blades work just have to be plugged in one at a time).

I flashed via GUI, via Serial and via SSH, nothing seems to work

And you have tried the other one on connector and it works fine with just one? (IE chain 1 in this case)

Trying to gather info.  You have an odd issue for sure for 3 to all go to one blade mining ok.  Did you have any storms or any electrical problems  before this happened?

What country are you located in?

if you are in USA, you can send 1 unit to Denver, Colorado to be tested.  Techs can tell you whats wrong with it.  I suspect some config issue but hard to diagnose remotely in this case.

If you are in Russia, Ukraine or Venezuela, you can send it to the repair center locally in your country as well.  (Just 1 unit to be tested so you'll know what is causing it.  Shipping fee is on you but it may be a fastest way to resolve this)

You can email support@bitmainwarranty.com for the request

Wow, BITMAIN bringing the support team. NICE!!!

I have had this problem before. The things that I did were as such!!

1. Make sure the antminer is set to dynamic (DHCP) and not static. It just makes thing much much easier.

2. Find that IP address. To do this login to your router. 192.168.1.1 or 10.0.0.1 (Xfinity). Once you're in go to "connected devices" (It should say something like this). Once there find the antminer on the chart.

3. Go to that IP!!

4. If it hashes GREAT but one more thing.

5. Make sure you have a password in the password box under Miner Configuration. Also, you may want to try a different pool. I suggest Slush. Some of my miners would not work with ANTPOOL but they all work on SLUSH!!

Hope this Helps
