someone need to do something

Someone?

Something?

That's not very helpful.

What exactly do you think needs to be done?

Exactly who do you think should do it?

How will you force them to do it whatever it is, if they don't want to?

Same problem for all bitcoin members.
Never don't keep your bitcoin in a exchange.
Use exchange only for trading.
Hopefully the problem will be solved.

how about i make an exchange with all the old coins, and you get interest for holding your bitcoins paid daily, and litecoin too. if i use multiple signatures on transfers, and 90% BTC offline cold storage, then theres nothing they can do to wreck my business. i was getting $5 dollar a trade fee per buy on bitstamp, what a rip off, and they dont clear my IMT's one took a month an half, thats money they make using my money to trade. and they wonder why i wouldnt deposit 50k waste of time. what we do when an online business rips us off or any of our friends, or hard working people who work hard together part of our community, tell your friends to stay away. copy the entire website, clone it, change the domain name and dns, then take all their customers. then sell the site cheap to someone young starting out just for kicks. its easier to take all of someones work then start from scratch building your website. just warn them whats going to happen next if they dont reset the problem.

i take screenshots to prove what im seeing infront of my eyes
u can capture the whole screen, video it with your fone, and what do you know, refund express. any error if not refunded is breaking the law, that means audit time. pay a small fee for someone to audit the site to get back what you lose. makes sense to me.

using best tech for encryption

if they chucked everything they do into a small truecrypt container, no1 would have access to it. its for free the best tech is free because it still works 15, 20 years later

This kind of situation will happen again and again unless government will monitor the activities of an exchanges.
More over hackers are now strong because without government rules they don't care, no one will stop them without rules. Someone can not do nothing on them.

Poloniex has had a detailed history of hacks in the past. So to expect them to not have any in the future is just delusional ideology. Back when the first hack happened and the chat box was still called the "Troll Box" without moderators there was a popular catch phrase. It went "POLONI'D, BOLOGNA'D, GET YOUR COINS STOLERONI'D"

no company really cares about security, until it is to late. security costs a lot of money.
you have to pay skilled personal and hackers.
There will be always some vulnerabilitys, even when it is in controll of the goverment.

On the other hand, if an exchange never got hacked it begins to look suspicious, as if it had been set up by the hackers themselves and were going to run away with your money in the nearest future...

I don't know what happened at Polo (if anything happened at all), but I can only repeat:

it is not a question of if but when an exchange will get hacked, go bust, or just plain ole run with the money

I understand OP has a problem, but there is no information how they ***up?
What did they do to you that you are feeling really miserable?

Did you lose on DAO/ETH, and you blame them now?
