Yes, that is true that bitcoin is gaining attention now,and it is now featured in mainstream media.Though bitcoin penetration and acceptance maybe is slow but users do continue to rise.In the coming years is a good sign for bitcoin.

The more attention media gives to Bitcoin more I like. The tools to track blockchain don't change so much, but the untracebility is very easy in Bitcoin system --the same way in fiat money/banks system--, so more newbie people are join this "world" and by touching this new field they argue lotta things we already knew. This anonymous situation was discused so much in the past and now another coins are the point of this discussion like Monero, Dash or Zcash.

Why does everyone want to go totally anonymous anyway, what's wrong with people knowing who you are? That does not mean they can touch your coins. Huh

would you want anyone with a little bit of skill knowing where and what you spend your coins on? if you had a business would you want your competitors to know your sales volumes and maybe what you're paying too? it's a valid concern.

Exactly: it's because of the public ledger. There is no public ledger for bank accounts, so bank accounts protect your privacy in respect of those you do business with. With Bitcoin, you have to protect your own privacy, there's no privacy by default.

They have said the truth, bitcoin is not as annonymous as it was before.
And i think that the more company operating in bitcoin the less the annonymity will be.

All untrue.
Segwit will enchance bitcoins privacy.
because ALL transactions will be collected in (pre witness) state before it gets written to the blockchain.
so what happends is that when segwit is active only mixed transactions will be put in the blockchain , the transactions are total sums of multiple transactions done in (pre segwit networks) like the lightning and tumblebit network! when segwit is active,.....
So after segwit activation bitcoin will be VERY anonymous!
