at the first place bitcoin is anonymous and it wasn't been legalized by the government since some of them though that bitcoin is a illegal money thats why it cannot become legal, aswell as it is your responsibility to research wider before investing on any of those so that the loss what you said will be avoidable, bitcoins will face a hard struggle if you think it will become a legal currency nor adopted by the law.

But if you do gambling and get into the situation that you have described it actualy depends on this site, how legal and honest it is and how it treats customers. you  should calculate your risk before investing in  any online investment platform. There isaaaaa no any online regulatory body that can safeguards your investment from scammers. Escrow could have been an option but most of them have been bought up by those investment sites. So you should calculate your risk before your investment your hard earning to a scheme you don't have control over.

it is true and with analyze the risk, we can know how good the investments that we want and we can spend in small or medium money so if something bad happen, we can minimize the loss. but if the case is like the OP said, then the investor can not doing anything because by who we can ask the responsibility? we don't know nothing with the investment sites and we can not ask for refund. so once again, before we make investment, there is many thing that we should know and we should take the time to learn the investment.

You can't do anything about it, since you haven't provided any information upon investing to that gambling site so do the owners doesn't.

It's your responsibility that before investing, do some research about the site that you are going to invest.

I think theres nothing we can do about it, Let us admit to ourselves that we made a wrong decision and learn from our mistakes.  Because by recovering the investment it will be hard to do it especially if the contact person is disappeared.

I think theres nothing we can do about it, Let us admit to ourselves that we made a wrong decision and learn from our mistakes.  Because by recovering the investment it will be hard to do it especially if the contact person is disappeared.

The problem with investment is that you can’t trust that they are going to get your money back if something happens to the investment site, that is why you should never trust new investment sites because in my opining all the new ones are trying to scam people.

Whenever you want to put your money into something you have to look for the reviews and the date of the foundation of the company, if it has good review and it is old then you can trust it otherwise stay away from it.

This is really a serious issue and in this case, the money is gone and the stress in recovering, might be more than the amount needed to  recover in terms of cost but at the same time its possible to recover it if the agreement you both signed given room for a party to indemnify another party then it can be enforced and if you have the financial resources to push it and the amount involved is large, then you push for it and you can recover such amount. But enough due diligence would have solved this.

Its important to look about the website (and company information, legal status, from witch country are they operating, ...) before to invest to avoid this problems. Once they run off, if it wasn't a legal company its very difficult to recover anything.
