What exactly is the fuss about, I guess from like a year ago? I read a bunch of different threads/posts but still kinda confused...

Someone won a shit ton of BTC and they just refused to pay out... because..??

I notice they don't have as many players as they use to -- or at least the player base really hasn't changed/grown.

Afterwards, they claimed jackpot could be not won during free spins, but the pay table did not exclude this.

More info:

Betsoft scam gaming software

Betcoin.ag extort 500 Bitcoins Jackpot winner for "settlement"

BetSoft Non-Payment of Jackpot

Their player base definetely decreased and they lost 40% in Alexa Global rank within 2 months!

BEWARE: Don't ever click on game-protect link, that is a click-trap. This is a warning!!
Don't deal with game-protect. She made a 5 BTC bounty but didn't want to escrow? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1769527.0
Don't be fooled.

@OP

Betcoin did a shady activity on jasonort winning a slot game jackpot. It was a closed case as of now.
Link that may help: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1517648.0

That's shit between jasonort and the gaming provider Betsoft. Has nothing to do with Betcoin really. They have a bunch of other gaming providers now too like Gameart and Ezugi, and live casino providers. I guess just avoid Betsoft jackpot games is my call. I just play poker and blackjack on Betcoin and try to avoid slots. The poker is excellent tbh.

No, this shit is crystal clear between jasonort and the betcoin.ag scam, because

1) The operator of betcoin.ag is the contract partner of the players

2) Player logged in and played with the betcoin.ag casino client

3) Jackpot winner deposited money to betcoin.ag

4) The juridical not valid terms of service on betcoin.ag website do not state one word about that the Betsoft scam collect the jackpot contributions and is responsible for payment

Betcoin refused to pay the huge jackpot because betsoft claimed that jackpot won in free spin phase is invalid, sounds absurd right? Since that, I would never play betsoft scammy jackpot.

You could have just looked at the profile and trust page of betcoin.ag. Everything is there and you can find all the referrence you need to judge for yourself.

Here's his trust page: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=202115

Generally, people above summarized it. Someone won big time and betcoin.ag didn't pay up.

Sh*t happened Cheesy I can't begin to understand how could someone play in a casino where the game provider designs predetermined (rigged) games? how could you ignore the ol dice with provably fair and square mechanism? I can't judge betcoin since I never played there but people say bad things about them. and you know if there isn't a thing people wont say that there is.

They don't have many players because they were accused of scamming their players. Not only that they had a very poor answering policy. They tried to censored criticism more than answering to them, that's never a good idea on a free forum.
You have like DOZENS of threads talking about how shitty or scammy the site is.
Not the kind of advertisement you'd want ^^

They had to limit signature campaign payment in December and since then they are in free fall on Alexa Global Rank.

Hi, I would like to know why I only got paid 0.123 BTC when I counted 146 posts in stage 14  Huh
So what amount are you expecting, the campaign reduces its maximum posts on the stage 14 as what OP mentioned on his lasts posts and as what he mentioned also here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1571148.msg17347855#msg17347855 for the maximum payout of each rank including the 0.02 btc for the avatar. Hope it clarifies you.

Oh well I didnt see that. Terms shouldn't be changed in the middle of an ongoing stage, should have waited for stage 14 imo.. also should have announced it in the #1 post with big red letters. At least I won the 25 casino bonus Tongue

I don't understand why they cut it so much tho. According to my calculations now a campaing like bitmixer is paying more (0.035 per week, 0.035x4=0.14 per month aprox)
