I think I want to keep the 2012's (although everything has its price). But the others are 1.5BTC/ea -including shipping +case: )

I'd trade for gold or maybe silver. Anyway, please PM me if you are even slightly interested-we could work something out.

So what does the $50 premium get me?

**edit: by offer I mean offer in Bitcoins (or gold if you have it!)**
As posted earlier, I would rather trade for gold, but I'm open to selling a couple of my Casascius coins. They are all 1 BTC. Although, I do have a 5 BTC coin that I loaded .5 BTC on (doubt there'd be any interest in that). All my coins are pristine. They have literally never been touched by me, and all but two came factory-packaged to me. Each coin went directly into a case as soon as it reached me. I am asking 1.4BTC/ea, including shipping anywhere in the US. I would like to sell these domestically (USA), but if you are OK with the risk of First Class Intl Shipping, or willing to pay for Priority International, I'll ship to you wherever you are.
Thanks!

Read again, you'll see. I don't know if you're being a smartass or just really don't know. But good luck finding a Casascius coin sold without a premium.

Not a smartass, just curious. Was looking to get a couple 1BTC coins but that isn't possible through the source anymore. So now all I see are collectors and resellers making extra off the same thing. I am just trying to determine what that 'thing' is that makes it $40-60 over face value.

I seem to remember casa selling them for around 1.28BTC two years ago, what has changed?

By the way I am not a coin guy as if you couldn't tell. Grin

Demand has changed, Cassius no longer sells them individually only in bulk orders and anyone who bought a series 1 is now holding on to a gold mine, and so everyone is looking to buy later versions, that is where the premium comes in, it's very much a sellers market

Cool, sorry if I offended you mentioning the "smartass" thing (although there are plenty of trolls on here, you have to be careful). I have a coin listed on BitMit for 1.38. And, I made sure that was the cheapest price on there for one. By the way-I'd rather sell here than BitMit (avoid their fee). User "molecular" sold out of coins selling them at 1.6! Although, that included free worldwide shipping. My price includes domestic (USA) shipping.
And yes, there was originally a premium on Casascius coins anyways (it only makes sense-he had to cover the costs of making the coins/holograms, and a profit). But now demand is much higher because Casascius sells by invite-only. I figured I could move this quick @ 1.38 BTC. We'll see.
