Recently bought some plantseeds (tomato/pepper) with Litecoins.
What did you buy with your altcoin(s)?

EDIt: I did pay for the seeds online with litecoins. I did not change the coins to bitcoins. The Payment processor probably does, because in the end most shops
probably want CASh (In this stadium of digital coins)

Also been looking into buying gold/silver with Altcoins, but only found one online shop yet. Some had Altcoins payment options , but seem to have withdrawn them. Only option is bitcoin.
Would be better if there was an universal Coin Payment Processor.

So far none only online service my dogecoin and litecoin for web hosting plan,here in our country we seldom see sellers using altcoins for their products but hopefully in the next 6 years there will be a lot of merchants offline that will offer crypto currency besides bitcoin.

In the past I used to buy digital goods with LTC (i had LTC from mining) ... and in some cases i gave #DRK (i think it's dead for some time now) but that was just luck and opportunity.

Besides that, I don't really remember stores that accepted anything else besides Bitcoin .

But until now I didn't buy any product from altcoins. I mostly used Bitcoins for all my some of the online transactions. Because in my country it is quite challenging to find someone who can accept even bitcoins to buy products directly and altcoin no way. Maybe in future, it may change.

Actually i can't buy things with my altcoins since i can't use it to buy things because its not accepted in the markets or shops yet. But if i convert it to btc. I can buy shoes or electronic gadgets or much expensive than that.

That's a good products to buy with litecoin if you want to start your own farm, real farm. So far, I haven't bought anything with my alt coins, most of the time I'm just using it for trading purposes and once I'm done trading with it and converted it already with bitcoin, that's the right time to think of something to buy.

Is this buying directly with altcoin? or exchanging it to fiat first? I cant believe theres already available shop to purchase some plant seeds. Wow this is really amazing that altcoin could be able to use to purchase something which is mostly can be used in bitcoin.

That's a good products to buy with litecoin if you want to start your own farm, real farm. i don't have anything as well OP i only uses for trading but hopefully psb which is goal is to be used for multi functional here in our country would let me/us to use alt coin in our needs, just needed some time for those alts to be well develop and embrace from their respected country/venue.

If I were to buy something online with this, I would certainly choose the most stable cryptocurrency, which at the moment is Bitcoin. But I could also consider the possibility of using Litecoin, since it is the second most stable currency in the crypto market.

This question for me is just like a dream that can't be done for me . Reason is not only one .
These are the reasons one by one which are responsible for me to not to buy anything .
1) no one sites are selling things in view with altcoins .
2) Altcoins are mainly available in the internet only for the trading .
3) here now I don't think if the selling or buying available with altcoin is possible because in my country the government declare the bitcoin and cryptocurrency illegal job .
Totally frustrating thing for me by the country of India .

For me I just started slowly earning altcoins but if ever i get chance to save and earn altcoins in the future. I'll use it to buy and upgrade my pc or if ever I get a chance to save more I'll buy an hardware for mining or I'll use it to invest on something. I believe that most shops especially if they have an online website/store they should accept BTCTC/Altcoin as an alternate payment in this way its easier for the customers and for the suppliers in any way.

Yes, most business doesn't have an option to accept cryptocurrency that's because most of them doesn't have knowledge on what cryptocurrency is but I believe in the future cryptocurrency will spread around the world and soon it will be an option on most business as a payment method. I once bought a vps and domain. Ran for a year for dead cheap, it was awesome.
It was closed after I bought and I couldn’t buy again but at least they said we could run out of our contracts which was nice. Also considering shapeshift changes coins instantly.

I can hold any coin I want and pay BTC to whoever wants it. That way I pay with altcoin for me but they end up with btc.

You are doing so because you have fascility in your area or country in which live .
In my country the dealers for the online selling or offline selling the goods with bitcoin litecoin or any other altcoin are now available , everyone are ready to make offline deals with the cash only .
Totally bad thing for me that I am living in that country where people do not want to grow digitally .
Here you are really lucky to find those person who can make deals with the litecoin directly .
I hope in the incoming years of 2-3 year , the future will be totally opposite to the current and everyone will make deals online and payments also will made through online wallet .
