I also read what you wrote in the slush thread. That you have your miner ip saved as a bookmark. If your miner is still set to DHCP, that ip can change.

Log into your router and double check for the ip address of your miner.

I have an idea. Go to the Awesome Miner thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=676942.0 - and download the free version of Awesome Miner. Once you have it installed on your PC, click the "New Miner" button in the top left of the program, this will allow you to install a new miner. Click next and then choose the 2nd option, "External Miner - Network scan". Click "Next" again and then click "Start Scan" button. It should find your miner IP Address.

It will default to the 192.168.1.0 - 192.168.1.255 address range. If your IP address on your network is different, you must change the scanning address range as needed.

Let us know how it goes.
Good luck.

EDIT: Of course your miner needs to be running and connected to the network for this to work. Good luck.

Network settings are set in DHCP and sometimes it might get a new IP address from router's DHCP address pool.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamic_Host_Configuration_Protocol

If you want to have a certain IP address for the miner for sure, you need to setup a static IP address.

I'm glad it worked for you. I have often had to use the network scan feature to find my miners when they have been off-line for some time or have been reset and have picked up new IP addresses.
