I know spending a few hours as a layover sucks so this must be so frustrating. No shower no bed.
I know that feeling. Been there when Y2K(bug) phenomena happened. I was stuck in a US airport (LAX) back then.
But things like this was scary as first. You are caught unaware and you don't know what to do and its so frustrating. You want to go home without hassle then this things happened. Yeah, the airline should be liable for everything and need to reimburse every customers. This is the worst for IT support personnel as well, I guess they needed to upgrade their network infrastructure so that they can prevent another incident like this.
