There will be no rocket to $3500 tomorrow, you'll be lucky to see it break $2800 at best. There will be stagnation. Bitcoin is down 4.25% to the 24-hour average right now. The demand grew because Japan actually did something with their government related to Bitcoin, not because of the WSJ. If it meant more we would see a significant impact on the value.

first of all the people reading WSJ already know about bitcoin and most probably have invested in it a long time ago before you and i did.
secondly WSJ has been writing about bitcoin for a very long time, i don't follow it to see if they ever posted anything on the front page but you can find a lot of articles from them about bitcoin.

As usual  we know one this above world people or media only gets news on which they are being caught by their interest which is commonly highest prices,value etc. and this thing is just happening on bitcoin and you are right they are only focusing on its price but not on its benefits and usage.

well the price is what will drive the adoption, you see now when the price is very high, there is more talk about bitcoin

more talk equal to more people buying in and so on, the price is important to help bitcoin grow, it's not just a number that tell you how much one bitcoin is worth

it's an important aspect like the block reward the block limit etc.. it's a part of bitcoin
