Dont laugh too hard at the title, my mining career is 6 days old. Im only looking from a small hobby interest and a general fascination with cryptography and code breaking.

No miner that ive downloaded in the last few days will allow me to mine with my little old GTX 260... tried Claymore and Ethminer, both forcce exit the command line when failing to detect my GPU... im sure its in there... I played Diablo 3 this morning !! lol

Single GPU Miner - Zotac GTX1070 8GB Mini
Still early days, aiming bigger in time

Weve all been starting out at one point buddy so dont worry. You would get a better answer from the members in the "mining (altcoins)" section further down the main page of the forum. This section is strictly bitcoins and cpu/gpu mining is no good for bitcoins, only altcoins.  Wink
