While I do not entirely agree with everything you say, you have a strong point about us changing the campaign terms.
Text signature was a placeholder to begin with, though I planned to keep it at least for a week.
It was not until my ('unexperienced', according to you) campaign manager explained to me the significance of a custom signature per every user rank.
It was that, in conjunction with the highly lucrative rate offered by our campaign, that I have decided to adopt the views and insights of my fresh campaign manager.
Newbie mistake, sorry, that one is on me.
With that said, as a lean startup, we learn and improve every day, validating or invalidating assumptions about the market and our users.
It was using that approach that we've been able to realise that we will have to maintain presence in this community, continuously, consistently, and for the long term. The main reason for that was that our service relies heavily on the trust we establish with the community, and this trust must be built brick by brick, day by day, and not by a prestigious blitz campaign.
For the above reasons, we are actively moving to a fixed-compensation monthly campaign.
Of course, all obligations to current users will be met.
As per the timing.
We were indeed late 2 hours.
But honestly, I've seen worse things occur on the forum.
While I do not think that you are personally shilling, and I appreciate your feedback and concern, many people do.
If I would be a bystander I would say that the latter hurts the community much more than a company that learns for it's mistakes and a 2 hour delay on the launch.
As a gesture to the community, all posts that were posted during the time between the time of the planned launch and the actual launch (2 hours) will be counter as well.
As per our campaign manager, everybody had to start somewhere, even outstanding individuals like Steve Jobs and Peter Thiel.
In our company, we are proud to act as a stage for young and passionate professionals.
The person is highly-committed to our success, and we believe in him.
So give the guy a chance, it is not an elbow society.
