Please make a prediction for BTC, not a preference:
$1,800
If the current Bull market is over, history says it will take years to rise again and the bottom will be well below $1,800.
Of course, well established patterns can be broken, but the collective behavior of "Real People" tends to be predicable.

or $7,000
A solid blast above $5,000 will signal the "trend-followers" that the party is still going and $7,000+ should come within a short time.

This could take a while, so unedited posts are entered to win the huge prize that comes from knowing you were correct.
$1,800 or $7,000: Which comes first as we go forward?

I would predict $7k comes first if no further negative news comes out of China and the china mining ban turned out to be completely bogus. We still have a lot of room for growth this year and the bull market could well extend to the next year. This is my bet and choice.

Otherwise, $1.8k will come first.

But imo, even in a bearish market, we won't reach that low, minimum $2k and that's it.

I don't think China would have pulled such a move to say that they were going to ban exchanges and not follow through with it. Then again, they might do anything at this point. They know they have some control over the market, but not even close to complete control as more countries accept BTC. I doubt that Bitcoin will have significant drops starting from now on. We'll hover for a little bit and then go up.

This area is up for grabs! PM me if you're interested.

I really don't think Bitcoin will drop all the way down to 1800. The rebound price is around 2500 in my opinion. A lot of people have set themselves a buying point at 2,500 and even at 3000. When they purchase, it's likely that the market will go back up. I think there's a while before we can get there, but 7000 might come before 1800.
I agree with you. Bitcoin prices may not dropped to 1800 $ . i think the rebound price is around $ 3000
how can you say that bitcoin will drop too 1800$ keep dreaming it will never happen and never ever drop because bitcoin will reach to 1200$ for sure next year so keep watch and see the increasing rate in bitcoin.

yes, it will go down to $1800 if hackers find vulnerabilities in bitcoin or NK-US war breakout, else it will be 7000usd by q2-q3 next year.Chinese uncertainty can lead to $2800, not below that.So I am hoping for 7000usd by next year as other possibilities seem skewed.

If November comes and the hard fork goes well then by all means, $7000 is going to be before $1800.

I really don't think that $1800 is going to come, bear market or not. People seem to have become very comfortable with the current level at $3000+ and as soon as the price goes below that, people will buy it all up like we saw when China banned ICOs and exchanges.

So therefore, i'm putting my money on $7000 coming before $1800.

I think i thought more aimed at $7000 than $1800, because many predict the bitcoin price will continue to rise, but to reach the $7000 figure seems still far enough to reach, it probably will first reach $ 4500 first.

As most of the users expectation the price is expected to reach $7000 in the short or long rather than falling low to $1800. Still we can't be sure, because at anytime anything could happen. It's all a matter of time. Things go unexpected as well grow high when people were thinking of decreasing in value. Right now the price seems stabilizing within certain price range. Hope this is an start for a pumping.

In any business or work everything will move forward only henceforth we can expect better price for bitcoin in upcoming months and years. This month bitcoin faced around 700$ dump in the chart still the value is being recovered in the chart with the adoption which are all bitcoin receiving.

Few people has suggested that bitcoin price will drop down below $1800 and then rebounds.
I think there is no such strong reason for bitcoin to fall far below 1800 range, may be it can come to $3000 but I don't think so as the price is almost stable now, at the other extreme if bitcoin is strong enough without any obstacles the price will hit moon.
