I would if it would stop you from posting.

Also, 'bitcoin', now this thread is relevant?

Yes - I've seen them up close and their fairly impressive. Rather more expensive than I'd imagined though.. anything with a top is the price of a house.

The freedom of not being within a national boundary is exciting but that's tempered with the size of waves; so, perhaps I'd just sit in the Mediterranean.

No, I would be more interested in a nuclear powered aircraft carrier or destroyer. I mean, we are talking "the money" here. I also want the full crew to man it including gun turrets and at a minimum a personal helicopter to ferry me from my well-armed ocean faring vehicle onto exotic beaches with exotic women. Should I somehow run into this amount of money I will make a personal invitation to my 10 closest friends to abandon their current lives and to embark upon the journey of sailing the oceans and exploring exotic women the world over with me.

I'm saving my BTC for exactly that.  Plan to buy a rather large ocean liner and convert it into a personal ultra-yacht.

Of course it'll be named after Satoshi.   Grin

I keep imagining my most realistic path to a mega yacht. Then I imagine dealing with shit like storms, waves, heat, sun, engines, other people. NO ESCAPE!

No.
Same here. If I had that amount of Bitcoins I'd just organise the construction of a city in the sea, away from the absurd laws that I won't have to abide when I'm in my own country. Though there's still plenty planning on that idea Undecided

Nope, yachts are over rated. Rather use or own a pontoon boat. Use them for fishing, tubing, skiing, BBQ's and more. Add a few 250HP-500HP outboards, you should be set. Anyone say roostertails  Grin Grin Grin ?

Probably not: I'd exchange them for another alt currency, wait for the price to increase, and buy more BTC Smiley

I would if it would stop you from posting.

Also, 'bitcoin', now this thread is relevant?

It's in the "off-topic" subforum.  This post is relevant to that subforum, and the results of such a survey question would provide us with some cross-sectional data on the consumerist attitudes of the bitcointalk population.

And no, I wouldn't buy a mega yacht.  Maybe a kila yacht.

I'll have 45 kila yachts then.
