Coinroll.it (Forum thread) is sponsoring a massive 100 BTC raffle.

To participate, simply put one of these codes found further below as your signature and mention your bitcoin address in this thread.

Rules:

• Your signature must contain one of the full signature code below ON THE FIRST LINE WITH NOTHING ELSE ON 1ST LINE!
• If your signature does not contain (alone and on 1st line) one of these code snippet at any point in time before the 1st January, your post will be deleted from this thread. No re-entry.
• You may participate if you have less than 100 posts, but you must have 100 posts or more by December 20th 2013 or you will not be eligible.
• You may put anything else you want on your next signature lines.
• If your post is not a participation, it will be deleted after the 31st of August.
• No participation will be accepted after the 31st of August. Topic will be locked past the 31st of August.

On January 1st 2014, 31 random numbers will be selected. Each number will correspond to a post based on the order in which they were posted (excluding the first 4 posts). If any number is drawn twice, a new number will be drawn to replace it. Your post number may change as we delete participants who breach the rules. We'll do a final checkup and deletion on the 20th December 2013, at which point post numbers will be final.

The prize pool is

• First number drawn will win 50 BTC
• 5 next numbers drawn will win 5 BTC each
• 25 next numbers drawn will win 1 BTC each

To make this raffle fair and make sure that we can't collude with winners we have asked for the help of 2 trusted forum members.

John K will be holding the 100 BTC in escrow until it is paid out to the winners.

dooglus will be holding part of the secret key that will be used to compute the numbers.


Provable fairness

dooglus and we (Coinroll) will generate a secret (20 char alphanumeric) and commit to it by posting its SHA256 hash. We will not know dooglus' secret and vice versa. Everyone will be able to save both hashes in advance and confirm they correspond to the secrets when the raffle is over.

To pick the winners we then reveal the secrets and concatenate them (our secret || dooglus secret) and take the SHA256 hash of the resulting concatenation.

We then take 4 bytes from the hash and convert it to decimal. The winner is the [n + 1]th signature post (all other posts are ignored for the purposes of choosing the winner) where n = picked_number mod total_signature_posts. Since 4 billion is a big number the probability difference of n for various total_signature_posts is insignificant.

We continue doing this for the other winners. When we reach the end of the stream we SHA256 the hex representation of the hash again and continue on the output. If a number gets picked twice then we move to the next number in the stream.

There will not be any changes to the thread in the last 7 days so everyone can verify that the list has not been changed in any way. Once the final review of participants is done 7 days prior to drawing, topic will be moved to the auction subforum, where people can't delete their posts.

The fine print:
This Contract is solely generated for the purpose of facilitating the transaction between the seller and the buyer, which refers to the pseudonyms used on bitcointalk.org.
The escrow holder, John, assumes and gives no liability or guarantees on the satisfaction of all parties involved, although he agrees to mediate and facilitate the deal to the fullest extent he is capable of.  On the event that any problems arises, he will release the escrow to whichever party that presents him with the most convincing proof and/or after an open discussion with others or theymos. 
The verbal acceptance by both parties (or the failure to reject) and the sending of Bitcoins to the escrow address above constitutes the acceptance of the terms and conditions stated, and the activation of this Contract.
